Description
What is the GPMS?
The General Project Management Standard (GPMS) is a collection of templates designed for managing projects and establishing project management organizational standards. Utilizing the GPMS templates can significantly streamline the administration of project documentation, enhance the quality of management documents, and save time.
This comprehensive kit offers standardized templates for various management documents and artifacts. These templates can be customized to suit the specific needs of companies across diverse industries.
To ensure consistent application across different sectors, the GPMS is grounded in the widely recognized artifacts and performance domains detailed in the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge and The Standard for Project Management (PMBOK® Guide, 7th edition). We have retained the terminology, designations, and titles from the PMBOK as closely as possible. Moreover, in the 7th edition of the GPMS.Kit, we have aligned the template IDs with the section numbers of the PMBOK. This ensures that users can effortlessly reference the original information about GPMS documents in the primary source.
A diagram illustrating the correlation between GPMS documents and the PMBOK’s artifact types and performance domains can be found on the right. This diagram is also available for download in both PDF and Excel formats.
