n8n Basics for Project Managers & Teams
In today’s fast-paced project environments, efficiency is everything. The “n8n Basics for Project Managers” training empowers PMs and project teams to automate routine project tasks, eliminate manual errors, and streamline team communication — all without writing a single line of code. Using n8n’s powerful visual automation platform, you’ll learn how to connect the tools you already use (like Jira, Trello, Slack, and Google Sheets) into seamless workflows that save time and boost productivity.
Plus, you’ll discover how to integrate modern AI tools like ChatGPT and OpenAI to enhance decision-making, draft communications, summarize updates, and more — all automatically.
Whether you manage one project or a portfolio of initiatives, this training will equip you with the practical automation skills to stay ahead.
Automate the Routine — Focus on Results!
Instructor: Anatolii Savin, PMP, PfMP, M.S.P.M
Training Duration: 2 days (the depth of n8n training can be adjusted based on customer requests or industry specifics).
Number of Participants: 8-16 people
Language: Ukrainian or English.
Target Audience
This training is tailored for:
- Project Managers involved in routine reporting and status tracking.
- Project Teams trying to automate everyday project tasks.
- PMO Staff aiming to reduce manual workflows.
- Project Coordinators managing multiple communication channels.
- Scrum Masters and Product Owners automating backlog updates and notifications.
- PM Professionals looking to upskill in automation for efficiency.
*All participants will earn 16 PDUs of the ‘Ways of Working’ type.
Knowledge and Skills Acquired
Participants will gain hands‑on experience in automating project workflows using n8n’s visual interface, enabling them to streamline communication, reporting, and data integration tasks:
- Design and build automation workflows (“flows”) using n8n’s drag-and-drop canvas.
- Integrate n8n with tools commonly used by project managers (e.g., Google Sheets, Jira, Slack, Trello).
- Automate project status updates and notifications.
- Set up triggers based on events (e.g., task updates, new form submissions), including scheduling workflows.
- Configure conditional logic, loops, and error-handling within flows.
- Monitor workflow execution and debug issues.
- Manage workflows: versioning, sharing, and collaborating.
- Ensure secure credential and data handling within n8n.
Highly Practical and Personalized
This is not a theory-heavy workshop. It’s a highly practical, results-oriented training designed for immediate application.
Participants are strongly encouraged to bring examples of their own routine project tasks and pain points they would like to automate — whether it’s sending reminders, compiling reports, or managing team updates.
By the end of the course, each participant will have prototyped automations tailored to their real-world project needs.
